Customer Order Book
For the advanced customer or active trader
Optio's main source of liquidity is the Volatility Based Order Book, however, the platform allows customers to send limit orders to a separate order book in either Price or Yield Terms.
These limit orders reside in a separate order book structure and can be filled either by market makers or other customers.
Volatility Book (left) and Price book (right)
Sz | Vol Bid | Vol Ask | Sz | Sz | Bid Price | Ask Price | Sz | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
70.0% | 120 | 150 | .05 | |||||
69.2% | 31.7 | 145.25 | .77 | |||||
2.5 | 69.0% | .25 | 120.6 | |||||
15 | 68.1% | |||||||
Note that these two books don't match with each other directly, but volatility orders do create implied liquidity on the customer book. Arbitrage relationships will keep both books efficient.
